Black Belt Values: Teachings of the Masters

We’ll continue touching on different topics throughout May but drawing inspiration specifically from the teachings of different martial arts masters such as Miyamoto Musashi and Bruce Lee.

Mother's Day Class - Saturday, May 9th 11:30AM - 12:30PM

Saturday, May 9th we will be hosting a super fun Mother’s Day Class! This is for students, any mother figures in their lives and any other family members that she is a motherly figure to!

Moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, aunts, older sisters, anyone like a mom is invited and cousins, siblings and other kids are welcome to join as well as long as they are age 5 or older.

Class will be 11:30AM to 12:30PM, light-hearted and fun with simple easy drills for kids and moms alike to do together! No sign-up necessary and no cost, just arrive to the dojo Saturday morning at 11:30AM and we will ensure EVERYONE has fun and makes some awesome memories!

Who’s ready for the most EPIC 60-Second challenge night ever?!?!

Drop the kids off with us for an evening packed with crazy games, nonstop laughs, and friendly competition! 🎉

These events are always a HUGE hit with the whole family! Kids get an awesome night of fully supervised fun, while parents enjoy a few peaceful kid-free hours! 🙌

💥Bottle Flip battles

💥Back-to-Back partner races

💥Snowball Scooper blindfold challenge

💥Rubber Band target shooting

💥Pizza, Popcorn, Juice & Water all served

💥More fast-paced 60-second challenge games

From flipping bottles under pressure to racing against the clock stacking towers of coins with just ONE hand, kids will be laughing, cheering, and competing all night long! They’ll team up with friends for hilarious partner challenges, test their focus in blindfold games, and see who can stay cool when the timer starts counting down! ⏱️🔥

Every game is designed to keep the energy HIGH and the fun going all night long! We’ll serve pizza and popcorn during the party as well.

All this for just $30 per child!

Parents Night Out events are always a BLAST and you don’t have to be a member to join in on the fun! Tell your friends and bring along the whole gang! Attendees should be between the ages of 5 and 12.

Karate Camp weeks are:

June 23rd – 27th
July 14th – 18th
July 28th – August 1st
August 18th – 22nd

Camp is 8AM to 4PM Monday through Friday.

What to Expect

Drop-off between 8AM and 9AM. While we let students arrive everyone gets free time to play on the mats, eat breakfast if they bring one or do something at the tables such as reading a book or drawing.

At 9AM we start the day with Karate Class going through everyone’s curriculum for the week. Students will learn everything they need for their next stripes and belt and will often get to learn and try some more advanced moves from other classes as a bonus for being at camp!

The rest of the day is spent going through various types of training including weapons, sparring, board breaking, obstacle courses and more. We have a snack at 10:30AM, lunch at 12PM and a snack at 2:30PM. Games are interspersed throughout the different types of training and then students should get picked up right at 4PM.

We have classes that begin at 4:15 so we appreciate you picking up your child promptly between 4PM and 4:15PM. If your child’s class is at 4:15 they can stay and take their class in which case you don’t need to pick them up until their class is over.

What to Bring

1) Gear bag with sparring gear and training weapons
2) Lunch and 2 snacks
3) Students can wear their uniforms if they want to but do not have to. Any clothing suitable for exercise is acceptable during camp. If they are staying for their class at 4:15 they should have their uniform for class but can choose to change in the bathroom between 4 and 4:15.

Registration

There are limited spots for each week of Karate Camp.
To reserve a spot for one week requires a non-refundable $150 deposit.
Monday the week of camp the remaining balance is due.

Full Week (5 days) $150
Half Week (3 days) $90
