Super Smash Brothers
Parents’ Night Out!
Saturday, August 12th 6-8:30PM
Join us for a fun night of “Super Smash Brothers!” We’ll be using pool noodles, indoor snowballs, nerf blasters and more to act out and simulate the different characters and abilities in Super Smash Brothers! Kids will have a blast with all kinds of games and pizza is included for all attendees!
Your child will have a safe, exciting, and awesome night they will remember!
NOTE: Booking is a MUST!
You can reserve spots for up to 4 kids at a time but we only have 25 spots in total! Please include the name of each participant you are reserving a spot for.
Participants should be between the ages of 5 and 12.

Student of the Month Party
Saturday, August 12th we will have a Student of the Month Party for all our recent winners! The party will be 5-6PM and each winner can invite up to 5 friends.
Vacation Week & Labor Day Closures
Vacation Week
August 21st-26th we will be closed for our summer vacation week. There will be no classes this week. We hope everyone else is or was able to enjoy some vacation time over the summer, too!
Labor Day Weekend
Saturday, September 2nd and Monday September 4th we will be closed for Labor Day weekend.
Test Prep & Tournament!
Test Prep
Beginning Tuesday, September 5th students testing for Black Belt in December will go from attending their usual class to attending “Test Prep” class times. On A-Days these students will re-learn all the forms required for their test and on B-days they will re-learn all the self-defense techniques required for their test and hone their sparring skills.
For about 7 weeks they will review roughly half the curriculum and take a Phase 1 Test — tentative date October 21st. Students who pass the Phase 1 Test will continue training for about 8 more weeks reviewing the remaining curriculum and polishing their moves from the first round of testing. The tentative date for the Phase 2 Final Test is December 9th.
Kids’ Tournament!
Saturday, September 16th there will be a small tournament at another school in Fall River for any of our kids’ students (no Teen/Adult students). This tournament will contain students from 2 other local dojos with similar curriculum to ours. Students can compete with Forms, Weapon Forms or Sparring. When completing the registration for the tournament (which will be released in the coming weeks) you will enter your name, age at the date of the tournament, belt rank and select which division or divisions in which you would like to compete. We will put together brackets and divisions based on age and rank so students compete against other students of similar age and skill level.
